Let me start by saying, I take pizza seriously! It has to met certain criteria and standards for me to give it five stars. Thats why when I visited "Iavarone Italian Kitchen + Pizzeria" I knew to have my stars ready. Outside, parking is easy. Thats because they have a larger, shared parking lot. From the outside, at first glance, the place looks impressive. Very modern and it also has a home look to it. Inside, the restaurant is huge. It has a bar, dining room area, and pizza area all in one. You can order at a counter or have service. I decided to head over to the corner (lack of time) and get something. There was plenty of staff on hand and the gentleman who helped me was friendly and fast. From order to hand off, took about 10 minutes. After I took advantage of a seat and started to eat. I have to state the obvious, it was good. It had plenty of cheese, good mix of sauce, and the outside crust was just right. I definitely liked it. And like is good. I wanted to love it, but I can agree it was liked. I would go back for a date or hanging with friends at the bar. I mean come on! It's an all in one experience.
This is our go-to-restaurant for lunch whenever in the area given the great combo of quality food, service, and ambiance. The mussels are a steal of a deal where $16 gets you a whole pot of tender, large, and fresh morsels with plenty of sauce to dip their fresh baked bread. Everything else, ranging from their grilled octopus to linguine with seafood is cooked just right or al dente. Service is helpful with suggestions for wines and dishes as well as seating options by windows with booths or outdoors on a nice day. There is ample parking in this strip mall lot with shops. The high ceilings, natural light, and spacious venue with a simplistic decor make this place comfortable to unwind for lunch any day.
Iavarone Italian Kitchen and Pizzeria is a great choice for lunch or dinner. The food choices range from Pizza to a nice sit down meal. the food is very good. The portions are decent. The place does get busy so make a reservation if you are heading over. Also in the summer grab a table Al Fresco. The service and staff was on point. Try the Bolognese.
Stumbled into this place with friends. It was brunch time and this place had a brunch menu! This place for me gets 5 stars because they offer a bucket of aperol spritz! Never been anywhere they offer that ;-) their brunch menu is good! We had a breakfast piazza (w/c has eggs, peppers, onions and ham)! Like an omelette on a pizza and was really delicious actually! We also had the octopus and pasta bolognese. The place was cute inside and our waitress was attentive too. Saw some parties that were celebrating birthdays too. They have a cute patio section that has a roof too w/c I'm sure you can rent out for private parties. Would def go back to try the non-brunch menu.
Good service, good food, nice environment, who could ask for more? All our dishes were excellent. The mashed potatoes were amazing! And they put a really nice bread basket on the table to start . Could have a few more vegetarian options , like more vegetarian pasta dishes. Only negative was that my signature ivarone old fashion cocktail, should have had the more gourmet cherry, and not the bright red maraschino cherry . The atrium is very well heated , which makes for a good option in winter as well as summer.
Stopped in for dinner with a group of four, and we all loved our meal! The bread to start was phenomenal - two types, and the rolls were so soft and warm and delicious. I had the chicken caprese stack - a breaded cutlet with fresh mozzarella, tomato, peppers, and arugula. It was so so good! Heard great things about the penne vodka, bolognese, and margherita pizza as well. The drink options for the fall were delicious as well - especially the cider mule. The water refills were plentiful and the wait staff really kept on top of things! Excellent restaurant!
YUMMERS. My pasta with clams was SO good. Highly recommend. I actually want to go back again soon and have this plate again (this place is a far drive from home!) the desert was delicious. A little bit pricey, but hey... you want quality? This was definitely worth it. The staff was on point, without being annoying. The ambiance was clean & pleasant. Two thumbs way up.
The food was solid. The polpettini were delicious, good amount of veal. The salad dressing on the mixed salad had a hint of raspberry, we think and made it. The eggplant parmigiana was a lil soggy and the cheese didn't have much flavor, but the sauce was the real deal. The capellini with lobster in Chardonnay sauce was light and fresh. The burger was huge and the beef delicious. Sweet potato fries were yummy. Wasn't a fan of the rolls. The focaccia, that we saw other tables had and we requested, needed to be cooked longer. Overall, portion to price ratio was great. The service was pleasant and efficient. Solid choice with lots to choose from and an overall great spot. I'd suggest reservations as it was a Tuesday night and the crowds were pouring in.
